The Design

It's been quite some time that I've been reading and writing software now. The one thing that I've always been obsessed with is an 'understanding' of the system. It has always been important for me to visualize the flow: the flow of actions and reactions. But be it MDN or be it Adobe, I've always found that one piece missing when browsing huge chunks of code.
When I look for a solution on the internet, all that I get is boring design specifications filled with UML diagrams. I am not saying that UML is not useful. But all that I wish to convey is that there needs to be a better (looking) solution for architects. An application, web/desktop/mobile, that can be used to create easily understandable designs quickly. The application should reduce the time of production as well as consumption of the design.

Even today, the most preferred way of designing software is a white-board! There has to be a reason behind that...
